Radha Vallabh Mandir is one of the maximum spiritually vibrant and ancient temples in Vrindavan, representing the purest devotion (bhakti) among Radha Rani and Lord Krishna. It belongs to the Radha Vallabh Sampradaya, a unique sect emphasising Radha as the supreme goddess.
ποΈ Radha Vallabh Temple History
The temple was founded in the 16th century by Hit Harivansh Mahaprabhu, a renowned devotee of Radharani and founder of the Radha Vallabh tradition.
The principle deity, Radha Vallabh Ji, is a beautiful black stone idol of Lord Krishna.
Interestingly, there is no physical idol of Radha Rani. Instead, her presence is symbolized by a sacred crown (Mukut) placed next to the deity.
Devotees believe that Radha Ji is always spiritually present in the temple, unseen but deeply felt.
